Happy holidays!

And happy travels if you're braving the airports or roads before Christmas.

We're spending the Chrismas holidays here in Park City, Utah. We're one month into our two month stay. I can't believe how quickly that's gone! It's nice to be experiencing a "White Christmas" for the first time. Christmas for us downunder is usually spent outdoors in the sun.

We've been partaking in lots of local holiday events. The kids met Santa at the Utah Olympic Park when we went to see an international luge competition (and you can see the most hilarious photo of it here on Facebook). We also went to see Santa come down the town lift in Park City on the weekend. It was pretty special to see it all lit up and very exciting for the kids. I've uploaded a short YouTube clip of the event here.

2015 Was Huge! Here are the Craziest Things We Did… We've been reflecting on our travels over the past year. I can't believe how much we squeezed into one year. We only have 6 weeks left in the USA but we've been in North America for 18 months so it's time to move on and do something different.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Where We've Been

We've spent the past month in Park City, Utah. We love Park City and we keep coming back for the winter! You can read all the reasons we love Park City in this post.

I wasn't sure I like cold weather until we came to Park City at the start of 2015 but I've fallen in love with ice, snow and warm clothes!

Travel Tip of the Month

Go left!

This might sounds like a crazy tip but I've tested and it works every time! If you're joining a queue at an airport, for car rental, at a cruise port, anywhere... GO LEFT!

75% of people are right handed so their natural tendency when queuing is to go right. By going left, you'll end up in a shorter queue. I promise.

Behind the Scenes

We're lucky enough to have a nanny helping us out in Park City. It's essential to get a few months of work in after a few months of travelling fast. I've been working at a co-working space in Park City which was a great decision!

Travel Product of the Month

What are you buying your kids for Christmas? We're giving our little one a Trunki as her main present. We've decided to ditch the stroller for our almost two-year old so a Trunki makes sense for easy transport and something to play with when we're at the airport.
